Photo series that explores the presence of organic shapes in the built environment of a provincial town in a flat country, and wonders what needs, longings, and solutions they stand for.

A selection of 16 photographs was published as a visual essay in the catalog Beyond the Picturesque (Gent: S.M.A.K., 2009), pp. 220-237, that accompanied the exhibition in S.M.A.K., Museum for Contemporary Arts in Ghent, Belgium.
